Outbreak - Dread the Undead

Zombies have come to Pigeon Forge and vacationers will soon learn to "Dread the Undead." Outbreak is a new thrill attraction in Pigeon Forge, TN that opened in June 2015 that takes you to the start of a terrifying new pandemic.

This Zombie adventure operates as a thrilling year-round haunted house that brings fright and an adrenaline pumping good time to the Pigeon Forge Parkway!

As a part of the Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center, "Outbreak" joins other great attractions in Pigeon Forge like the Hollywood Wax Museum, Hannah's Maze of Mirrors, and the Castle of Chaos.

Haunted House in Pigeon Forge, TN

The dreadful story begins at Chemacorp, a biotech company and defense contractor whose experiments have taken a grave and terrifying turn. Alpha Strain, a powerful viral compound designed to create super soldiers, has spread out of control – and it's your job to clean things up.

We won't give away the details of what you'll experience in this multi-million dollar haunted house, but know that "Outbreak" uses state of the art animatronic technology and special effects. These life-like (or zombie-like) figures move in ways that will send chills up your spine. Live actors also supply some terrifying scares you won't soon forget.

This new zombie adventure is even larger than the original "Outbreak" attraction in Myrtle Beach since it has 10 more sets for vacationers to encounter. Carefully constructed scenes are realistic down to the smallest details with lights, sounds, fog, smells, and audio composed by two Emmy-award winning sound designers. These effects seamlessly transport you from hospitals to boiler rooms to the outdoors as you move through Chemacorp's facilities.
