Sweet Fanny Adams Theater presents a Unique Show

Established in 1977, Sweet Fanny Adams Theater is the longest running show in Gatlinburg presenting a vaudeville style show reminiscent of the performances of the 1890's. Vaudeville theater's popularity reached its height from the period of the early 1880's to the early 1930's. Comprised of a series of unrelated acts that ranged from short plays to dancers to magicians, these shows presented a variety of acts to entertain audiences.Honoring this tradition, Sweet Fanny Adams presents 2 new shows each season with many of these elements to keep guests laughing year after year.

When the founders Pat and Don MacPherson founded the theater in 1977, they started a tradition of unique comedy to the hills of the Smoky Mountains and for nearly 40 years Sweet Fanny Adams has presented audiences with a show like no other in Gatlinburg. Come enjoy "Marlakey" and "The Son of the Musketeers" during this 38th season of the most interesting, witty show in the Smokies

The Sweet Fanny Adams Gatlinburg Experience

Step into Sweet Fanny Adams theater for a night of entertainment. This cozy theater allows for plenty of audience participation during a hilarious show and provides and intimate environment for the show. The humor for this show is suited for the whole family (while some jokes hold a little tongue-in-cheek humor for the adults as well). Several of the acts are old time favorites of the theater. For example, watch as three cast members saunter on stage in raincoats in the famous "The Dancing Trenchcoats" skit. Some numbers involve audience participation that calls for audience members to come on stage with the cast. Will you have the courage to join the silly singing and dancing vaudevillians?

Chris MacPherson, the director (as well as cast member), has been a part of the Fanny Adams family since the tender age of six and brings his magnanimous personality to the stage to entertain audiences time and time again. Kara Van Veghal stirrs audiences with her delightful singing abilities to the stage. Tim Coleman, Jeremy Gregoire, Lisa Morton, and David Herbert Fenall bring their wide variety of talents to the Sweet Fanny Adams Theater stage as well. From comedy numbers to musical bits, this cast's talent makes every moment of each of Sweet Fanny Adams Theater Gatlinburg TN's 2 shows enthralling.

The brand new 1890's style musical-comedy "Malarkey" will have audiences rolling over with laughter with its 30 songs, sketch comedy, an old-fashioned sing-a-long, and of course "The Dancing Trench Coats". "Marlarkey" provides a bit of poppycock and balderdash to the Smokies at Sweet Fanny Adams Theater Gatlinburg, TN.

Additionally, "Son of the Musketeers" gives guests a traditional 3-part evening show. Start the night out with an original 1890's style musical filled with riveting songs and dance numbers. Following the musical, enjoy a traditional sing-a-long bit. Finally, the Olio and Revue will surely please with the world famous Classical Paperdance.
