Midnight 8K Road Race Aug. 4
Race down the Pigeon Forge Parkway and enjoy the bright lights of this popular destination on the night of Saturday, August 4th at 11:59 PM. This course is famous for producing some lighting fast race times and for drawing competitive runners with sizable cash prizes.
Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion Aug. 24-25
Bring your Jeep to the Smoky Mountains for this car show where you'll find lots of parts, vendors, and Jeep enthusiasts at the LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge!
Veterans Homecoming Parade Aug. 18
Formerly known as the Welcome Home Vietnam Parade or the Welcome Home Veterans Parade, this annual salute to the veterans is a festive parade that honors the courage, bravery, and sacrifice of America's greatest heroes. The parade begins at 9 AM and goes from traffic light #8 to traffic light #5 on the Pigeon Forge Parkway.
Another fun event to check out is Dollywood's summer festival. From June 16 to August 5, Dollywood is open for extended hours, so you ride roller coasters until 10 PM at night. Along with some special summer shows, every evening at 9 PM, Dollywood puts on a terrific fireworks display that's synchronized to music!
